"Photography is the pause button on life"

         

             Hi! I'm Jane, I have two lovely (and very spirited shall we say!) boys, Joe and Sam who are 8 and 5. I live with my husband Matt in Hoylake on the Wirral. We are so lucky to have the beach at the bottom of our road, woods about 10 mins away and we spend many a weekend discovering new places.

           My journey with photography and a DSLR camera is fairly new. I had a bit of a tough time following the birth of my 2nd little boy, I had sepsis. Due to PTSD my short term memory was really affected, I didn't want to forget any of the moments of my little boys so I bought a camera and decided to go on an amazing "mumtography" course by the wonderful Sarah Roberts of Whispering Willow to learn how to use it and therefore take pics of my boys I could cherish. The more I took the more I loved it! To capture moments in time where that memory is stored forever just means the world to me. Every photo I take, I take as if that person was my  family member and how I would want that person to be remembered in that moment. Friends and family in turn started asking me to take pictures and this page has kind of come from that!

            

           I really do hope you like my photos, they are me laid bare, they are the intricate details of the most special people in our lives and I want to capture every tiny bit. The eyelash, the freckle, the curl, they are all so beautiful and raw. I am so passionate about capturing these details and often get over emotional about them. I love to capture moments as they happen, on a walk, at a party, just you and your family being you <3

         I have a *real* job too shall we say as this never feels like one as I love it! I work in the Cancer Services team as a MDT Coordinator in the NHS. So for now I balance this, my job and life as a mum and wife!
